Maintenance Guidelines
- Oil Level Monitoring: Always check the transmission fluid level exactly two minutes after shutting down a warm engine. The correct fluid line must fall squarely between the upper and lower hash marks on the dipstick.
- Fluid Break-In: After completely replacing the oil, flushing the system, or swapping the oil filter, you must run the transmission for two minutes at idle. Afterward, shut it down and re-check the fluid level to account for the volume trapped inside the internal cooler lines and filter housing.
