The Volvo Penta D6-370 engine is a 5.5-liter inline 6-cylinder inboard diesel engine that produces 370 horsepower (hp) at 3500 RPM. Specifically designed for high-performance marine use on both leisure and fast commercial vessels, this engine combines common-rail technology with an advanced electronic control system to deliver responsive acceleration and high fuel efficiency.
Volvo Penta new 6-cylinder D6-370 is developed from the latest design in modern diesel technology. The engine has common rail fuel injection system, double overhead camshafts, 4 valves per cylinder, turbocharger and after cooler.
Together with a large swept volume and the EVC system (Electronic Vessel Control) this results in world-class diesel performance, combined with low emissions.
